MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I hope you all had a awesome Christmas! It is such a privilege to celebrate our Lords birth! And giving one another gifts from our hearts. I love wrapping gifts for those I love, it is a joy to give! This Christmas God has really opened my eye's to his mercy in sending his son as a helpless baby, to save the hopeless sinners in need of a Savior. I can see more and more what Peace on earth means. It doesn't mean that there is no heartache or despair, rather it means that when you have God in you you can have peace and be thankful in any situation you face, Not by your own strength but the power of Christ in you. God has shown me that through this Christmas season. Praise his name that because he came as a baby we can have peace on earth and goodwill toward men!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

       AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! I LOVE YOU!

O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! (Isaiah 40:9 KJV)

How Do We Take Peace TO The World?[FROM A DEVOTIONAL]

In Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he urges them to have the attitude of a Christ, a posture of humility (Philippians 2:1-11). Humility is considering others as more significant than yourself. It’s not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less so that we can think of others more.

Jesus came to bring us peace, to reconcile our broken relationship with God. And He leaves us here as His representatives, His agents of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). We have an obligation to consider others as more significant than ourselves and to bring to them the hope that they too can be reconciled back to God, they too can have peace with their Creator.
So how can we do that? Love others as Jesus has loved them. Bring peace as Jesus has brought peace. Seek their well being. Seek peace for their lives. When we genuinely look out for the betterment of others, peace will naturally follow.

Devotional by Louie Giglio

WHOM SHALL I FEAR?

REFLECTION

In the midst of the fray and fury, keep your eyes on Jesus. He is fighting for you. Emmanuel is near. Though accusations fly and the enemy assaults your thoughts, though people try to cut you down and drag your name through the mud, though schemes are launched and temptations roar, though your flesh fails and screams for revenge-your hope is in the One who fights for you. You are safe in God's love and in the power of His mighty name.

MEDITATION

Fear Not to Trust Me in the Storm
Fear not to trust Me in the storm,
I'm always very near.
I come thy needless fears to calm,
Then, weary ones, don't fear.

Refrain
Fear not, I am with thee,
Fear not, I am with thee,
Fear not, I am with thee,
Am with thee all the way.

I may not always seem so near
As thou wouldst have Me be;
But in the calm and in the storm,
I all thy dangers see.

Refrain
Fear not to trust My mighty arm;
It bro't salvation down.
I suffered much to give thee life,
To give to thee a crown.

Refrain
J.W. Howe, Stanzas 1-3

PRAYER

Father, in the middle of the storm I am setting my hope on You. You fight for me and You are greater than all my enemies. Nothing I face today is more powerful than You. You are the solid ground beneath my feet. Thank You for surrounding those who surround me. Give me peace in the presence of my enemies, knowing that You see me and defend me in Your love. Amen.

Psalms 27:1-6 KJV
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

4 One thing have I desired of the Lord , that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord , and to enquire in his temple.

5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord .

HARK THE GLAD SOUND!

Hark the glad sound! The Savior comes,
The Savior promised long;
Let ev’ry heart prepare a throne,
And ev’ry voice a song.

He comes the pris’ners to release,
In Satan’s bondage held.
The gates of brass before Him burst,
The iron fetters yield.

He comes the broken heart to bind,
The bleeding soul to cure,
And with the treasures of His grace
To enrich the humble poor.

Our glad hosannas, Prince of Peace,
Thy welcome shall proclaim,
And heav’ns eternal arches ring
With Thy beloved name.

UPDATE!

I know it's been a while since I updated this blog so I'll just give a brief update......I've been busy with schoolwork and church duties,  And we have been busy with Doctors appointment's for Mama and Daddy as well. God has been so faithful too us! I've learned more about God through each trial that we go through, that  no matter what too still believe that he knows best, his ways are past finding out. Yes I believe in divine healing even instant healing. But I also believe that if God chooses not to heal right away, it means that he has something else in store, And there are passages of scripture where God just wants us to trust him that he knows best, and one thing I've learned is he may not always promise instant healing for every single christian, but he does promise grace to make it through when we don't have the strength too.
 Philippians 4:19 says; But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
He will supply enough grace to make it through! I know that God will not leave us on our own!
I just want to thank him! and praise him! And God has reached down in the hardest moments when Mama and Daddy were not doing good, and given them grace to make it through. and us girls strength to help where we can. There is a song I love to sing its called "ITS IN THE SAVIORS  HANDS'
And the chorus is......... "There will be Grace, Grace to make it through each trial, there will be strength, strength to walk another mile. there will be hope when I've done all I can do, I'm glad to know its in the Saviors hands!"
I rest assured he knows what he is doing! Well there is my "Brief" update, I just want to give God the glory for what he has done for us!

Have a great weekend!!! God bless you all!!!

P.S.
Looking forward to the upcoming revival and camp meeting in November! Believing the Lord too move in those services!

God will hold us together.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. (Colossians 1:15-20 KJV)

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Colossians 1:15-20 NIV)

For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. (Colossians 1:13-20 NASB)

Write what you feel.

I read this devotional this morning,And it really touched my heart. I hope it touches yours! I have written what I felt and without knowing it, it brought healing. It's amazing that God would creat writing. And amidst  all the things that we do with writing, one of the things it does for us is bring healing. But of course it's God working through the writing. I've experienced that when you feel like you don't have the strength to fight any longer, something happens when you put the pen to the paper, or your fingers to the keyboard. A fight rises up in you too not give up hope, That God will bring you through! Here's the devotional, and have a great day!

Writing with Thorns
by Charles R. Swindoll

Psalm 62:5-8

In pain, grief, affliction, and loss, it often helps to write our feelings . . . not just feel them. Putting words on paper seems to free our feelings from the lonely prison of our souls.

It was C. S. Lewis who wrote:

Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything. . . . No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear. I am not afraid, but the sensation is like being afraid. The same fluttering in the stomach, the same restlessness, the yawning. I keep on swallowing.

It was William Armstrong who wrote:

Back in the house I moved on leaden feet from chore to chore.

It was Ada Campbell Rose who wrote:

The mantle of grief falls on every hour of the day and covers me while I sleep. Will it ever go away?

It was King David who wrote:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

It was the apostle Paul who wrote:

Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me---to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10)

It was George Matheson who wrote:

My God, I have never thanked Thee for my thorn. I have thanked Thee a thousand times for my roses, but not once for my thorns. I have been looking forward to a world where I shall get compensation for my cross, but I have never thought of my cross as itself a present glory. . . . Teach me the glory of my cross, teach me the value of my thorn. Show me that I have climbed toThee by the path of pain. Show me that my tears have made my rainbow.

As you feel the stinging thorns of pain today, what do you write? Nothing?Healing stands with folded arms waiting to read your words. Small wonder you're still bleeding.

Our High priest.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 KJV)

Late post!

 Hello! Sorry for the late post!
Soo a couple of weeks ago on September 12th. There was another Unified Holiness Rally at gospel center.
The Cali group came over to join in our services and it was great seeing people I hadn't seen in a while, it was a great service! Bro.Brad Farless (Bible Holiness pastor) preached the message mainly for the teens that were there.
He spoke on peer pressure, and how to overcome it Gods way.
He brought many different scriptures but the main focus was Daniel chapter one, And he brought out that we live in a culture of peer pressure. that's why there is so much compromise going on, and Adults (not just teens) are being pressured Into letting down their standards, and I'm not just talking about dress standards, I'm talking about our beliefs what we stand for. But how did Daniel encounter the temptation and not give in too it? He purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the kings meat. Daniel knew if he did not purpose, he would eventually fall. Daniel knew that in order too not give up what he had been taught and believed, he had to make a choice. And it did keep him from falling into sin.
 And when he did purpose in his heart he did not fall into compromise.
His message spoke too my heart, and I felt The Lord say too meto purpose  with all of my heart (Not that I hadn't already but a deeper resolve) that I will not succumb to the enticing world around me. And that when pressure comes, when the heat comes, that I will keep my focus on Jesus. I heard a saying once it said; ME+JESUS=MAJORITY
when you are a Christian even though your alone physically, you have more on your side then the world has on theirs. I'm soo glad we are in the winning side!
All God is asking of me is that I stand when others fall, and that I will not compromise even when peer pressure is asking me too.
That may seem impossible but the secret if you want to call it that, Is that God gives us strength and grace.
As Christians,to make a difference we have to be different.
That's my hearts desire is to just serve The Lord and do his will, I have purposed in my heart that by Gods grace I will not defile myself. And believe me I'm not saying that to say I'm perfect,  I'm just a sinner saved by the precious blood of Jesus!
I think of the words to the hymn I'm sure we all know it, My Saviors Love. I love the first verse;
"I stand Amazed in the presence, of Jesus the Nazerene! And wonder how he could love me, a sinner condemned unclean."
Chorus
"How Marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be!
How marvelous how wonderful is my Saviors love for me!"

That is my hearts cry is to sing Gods praises!
So yes that night was a very good service The Lord really moved in the testimonies as well, and  I really appreciated that message by Bro.Brad, and the challenge not to listen to peer pressure. And too listen to what the Bible says, even if it means to stand alone.
I just wanted to share with you what The Lord has taught me, and what I'm still learning!

When Feeling Fails.

Three men were working on a wall: Feeling, Faith and Fact,
When Feeling got an awful fall, and Faith was taken back.
So close was Faith to Feeling he stumbled and fell, too.
But Fact remained and pulled Faith back, and Faith brought Feeling, too.

Thou art coming to a king, large petitions with thee bring for his grace and power are such, that we could never ask too much.

God is amazing!

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. (Psalms 33:6 KJV)
By the breath of his mouth, it shows us how amazing God is! Think of how huge the universe is, God breathed it out! Is not that proof of how big our God is?
When you think the circumstance is to much to bear and you feel like God isn't working, take a look into the heavens to be reminded of his ability, and might. Praise his name! And he still cares about us! He knows our name, each one of us individually.

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. (Isaiah 40:26 KJV)

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:16 KJV)

When you feel like you can't take it, remember who's holding you.

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. (Psalms 139:10 KJV)

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10 KJV)

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23 KJV)

Streams~in~the~desert.

Comfort in the Depths

Ps 84:5-6 KJV - Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

Comfort does not come to the light-hearted and merry. We must go down into “depths” if we would experience this most precious of God’s gifts—comfort, and thus be prepared to be co-workers together with Him.

When night—needful night—gathers over the garden of our souls, when the leaves close up, and the flowers no longer hold any sunlight within their folded petals, there shall never be wanting, even in the thickest darkness, drops of heavenly dew—dew which falls only when the sun has gone.

“I have been through the valley of weeping, The valley of sorrow and pain;
But the ’God of all comfort’ was with me, At hand to uphold and sustain.

“As the earth needs the clouds and sunshine, Our souls need both sorrow and joy;
So He places us oft in the furnace, The dross from the gold to destroy.

“When he leads thro’ some valley of trouble His omnipotent hand we trace;
For the trials and sorrows He sends us, Are part of His lessons in grace.

“Oft we shrink from the purging and pruning, Forgetting the Husbandman knows
That the deeper the cutting and paring, The richer the cluster that grows.

“Well He knows that affliction is needed; He has a wise purpose in view,
And in the dark valley He whispers, ’Hereafter Thou ’lt know what I do.’

“As we travel thro’ life’s shadow’d valley, Fresh springs of His love ever rise;
And we learn that our sorrows and losses, Are blessings just sent in disguise.

“So we’ll follow wherever He leadeth, Let the path be dreary or bright;
For we’ve proved that our God can give comfort; Our God can give songs in the night.”

Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. (Psalms 94:17 KJV)

A lot Going On!

OK so i will give a little update since I haven't in a longtime................................So we went to Palmdale camp, we arrived on Thursday and left Monday, and it was an awesome camp!!!!!! The Lord really moved and victories were won, I gained some victories in my spiritual life as well.
 we also had a good time of fellowship with friends we hadn't seen in a while, and we made new friends too. So i thank the Lord for preforming a miracle in helping us to go, God is a awesome God!!!
So kaitlyns graduation was this past July on the 11th it was a very nice ceremony, and we are so proud of kaitlyns accomplishments! I will try to get some pictures later.
And then a couple of weeks after her graduation on the 25th was her party, and it was a awesome party you could feel the Lord there among the fellowship and prayer.
As some of you know my Grandma Wiseman passed away a couple of weeks ago, we miss her very much, but we are rejoicing that she is not suffering anymore. She has finished well for she has her reward in heaven, I'm glad to know we will see her again one of these days. God said in his word that he has a place for those who keep the faith, who run the race, and finish well, in Revelations 21:4 God has promised to wipe away our tears of sadness in heaven, Praise God for that hope! His promise is true, He is who he says he is!
Us girls are back to school full force! we have a lot to do but its exciting! I am looking forward to achieving the goals I have set for this school year. I am also now officially a Junior! so I'm excited and nervous at the same time, I look forward to it though, and I am determined to do my best!
I am also looking forward to music lessons, my goal is to learn the piano, and the guitar. The piano will help me in my desire to learn the guitar.
So that is my little update I'm excited for what God has in store for me, and what his will is for my life. I desire to do what he wants me to do. I thank the Lord for his help, and for his grace he daily gives.

 Isaiah 26:3
 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Do you understand who God is?

Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity. Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:21-31 KJV)

The Promise

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Hebrews 11:13 KJV)

Pressing Forward.

Pressing Forward

2 Cor 1:8-9 KJV - For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

“Pressed out of measure and pressed to all length;
Pressed so intensely it seems, beyond strength;
Pressed in the body and pressed in the soul,
Pressed in the mind till the dark surges roll.
Pressure by foes, and a pressure from friends.
Pressure on pressure, till life nearly ends.

“Pressed into knowing no helper but God;
Pressed into loving the staff and the rod.
Pressed into liberty where nothing clings;
Pressed into faith for impossible things.
Pressed into living a life in the Lord,
Pressed into living a Christ-life outpoured.”

The pressure of hard places makes us value life. Every time our life is given back to us from such a trial, it is like a new beginning, and we learn better how much it is worth, and make more of it for God and man. The pressure helps us to understand the trials of others, and fits us to help and sympathize with them.

There is a shallow, superficial nature, that gets hold of a theory or a promise lightly, and talks very glibly about the distrust of those who shrink from every trial; but the man or woman who has suffered much never does this, but is very tender and gentle, and knows what suffering really means. This is what Paul meant when he said, “Death worketh in you.”

Trials and hard places are needed to press us forward, even as the furnace fires in the hold of that mighty ship give force that moves the piston, drives the engine, and propels that great vessel across the sea in the face of the winds and waves. —A. B. Simpson

“Out of the presses of pain,
Cometh the soul’s best wine;
And the eyes that have shed no rain,
Can shed but little shine.”

Prayer

: "No one is a firmer believer in the power of prayer than the devil;
not that he practices it, but he suffers from it." - Guy H. King

That's sooooo true!

Streams in the desert

Stay firm, He has not failed thee
In all the past,
And will He go and leave thee
To sink at last?
Nay, He said He will hide thee
Beneath His wing;
And sweetly there in safety
Thou mayest sing.

Weariness.

My way led up a hill, and right at the foot I saw a boy on a bicycle. He was pedalling up hill against the wind, and evidently found it a tremendously hard work. Just as he was working most strenuously and doing his best painfully, there came a trolley car going in the same direction—up the hill.

It was not going too fast for the boy to get behind it, and with one hand to lay hold of the bar at the back. Then you know what happened. He went up that hill like a bird. Then it flashed upon me:

“Why, I am like that boy on the bicycle in my weariness and weakness. I am pedalling up hill against all kinds of opposition, and am almost worn out with the task. But here at hand is a great available power, the strength of the Lord Jesus.

“I have only to get in touch with Him and to maintain communication with Him, though it may be only one little finger of faith, and that will be enough to make His power mine for the doing of this bit of service that just now seems too much for me.” And I was helped to dismiss my weariness and to realize this truth. —The Life of Fuller Purpose

Abandoned.

ABANDONED

Utterly abandoned to the Holy Ghost!
Seeking all His fulness at whatever cost;
Cutting all the shore-lines, launching in the deep
Of His mighty power—strong to save and keep.

Utterly abandoned to the Holy Ghost!
Oh! the sinking, sinking, until self is lost!
Until the emptied vessel lies broken at His feet;
Waiting till His filling shall make the work complete.

Utterly abandoned to the will of God;
Seeking for no other path than my Master trod;
Leaving ease and pleasure, making Him my choice,
Waiting for His guidance, listening for His voice.

Utterly abandoned! no will of my own;
For time and for eternity, His, and His alone;
All my plans and purposes lost in His sweet will,
Having nothing, yet in Him all things possessing still.

Utterly abandoned! ’tis so sweet to be
Captive in His bonds of love, yet so wondrous free;
Free from sin’s entanglements, free from doubt and fear,
Free from every worry, burden, grief or care.

Utterly abandoned! oh, the rest is sweet,
As I tarry, waiting, at His blessed feet;
Waiting for the coming of the Guest divine,
Who my inmost being shall perfectly refine.

Lo! He comes and fills me, Holy Spirit sweet!
I, in Him, am satisfied! I, in Him, complete!
And the light within my soul shall nevermore grow dim
While I keep my covenant—abandoned unto Him!

Don't Stop Praying!

Don't stop praying! The Lord is nigh;
Don't stop praying! He'll hear your cry;
God has promised, and he is true;
Don't stop praying! He'll answer you.

'Don't stop praying, but have more trust;
Don't stop praying, for pray we must;
Faith will banish a mount of care:
Don't stop praying! God answers prayer.'

Have you proved this?

FAITH

Hebrews, chapter 11, We all know it as our "Hall of Faith" it is a very encouraging chapter to read, a verse that stuck out to me, was verse 11, "Through Faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she as past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised."
I found it interesting that when I looked up the word "Judged" And it said judged [when used as a verb] means to form an opinion or conclusion about something.
Now we know that really it seemed like Sarah didn't have much faith, it seems like she really didn't believe God. But we miss something in that story, we miss the plain and simple fact that Sara was human. No it did not give her an excuse, but she was human non the less. But she did find out God was faithful because he kept his promise.

Genesis 21:7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for i have born him a son in his old age.

Right here in this verse, Sarah found him faithful, who had promised.
vs,11 She judged him faithful who had promised. When Isaac was conceived within her, she came to the conclusion, you could say, that God will fulfill what he has promised, just because it isn't in our "Time frame" doesn't mean he forgot about his promise. GOD, IS NOT MAN HE DOES NOT LIE! Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2
Oh if we ever doubt God, may we judge him FAITHFUL! For he is faithful.
Now in this chapter there is a list of people, who had Faith in the midst of trials, and adversity.

vs, 13
These all died in Faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and Pilgrims on the earth.

isn't that awesome? these people all died in faith, but they did't see the promise God said he was sending to them, the promise of eternal salvation to those who keep the faith. these people still believed God, even though they went through unimaginable trials, and torture, still not having seen the promise.
But though they may not have seen the promise on earth, they most certainly did in Heaven!

may the Lord help me not to doubt his promise, but to have faith. To be like these great men, and women of faith, who believed God.

This passage of scripture really touched my heart, so I wanted to share it with you all.
Have a great day.

Poem

My feet to run Thine errands, Lord;
My lips to praise or pray;
My hands to lift the Fallen ones
And help them on their way;
My every power of mind and heart;
Mine eyes Thy tasks to see.
For any service Thou dost choose,
Lord, here am I; send me.

Come To Him

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. (Psalms 22:24 KJV)
God does not hate it when we come to him, he hates it when we don't.

A Lot Happening.

Wow time goes by soooooo fast! Sorry for the late post...the 50th anniversary for sun valley camp was AWESOME!! There was victories won, and Souls saved. It was a privilege to hear the Watchman Quartet sing and preach, It was the first time for me to hear them, I enjoyed it a lot and I really grew spiritually from it. Then the 5th of February was a VERY special day for me, I turned 16!!!!!!!!!!! People have asked me if I feel any different or older, and yes I do!!! I'm excited for my 16th year:)
 then as all of you know what happened with daddy was very hard, but God brought us through the toughest parts of that trial and he will continue to bring us through many more. I'm still busy as ever! I'm working hard at learning the guitar, so far I can play one song, The keys to that song are very simple. During camp Bro.McCoy really helped me with the guitar, he sat down with me and shown shown me some things on it, I really appreciated that. And Bro.Mark here at church has also been a big help to me in learning the guitar, he has showed me how to play in certain keys etc...
And school has been really busy, but I do enjoy learning, especially since we use the Thomas Jefferson Education approach! it has brought learning to life!
And I have felt like I have grown spiritually in the last few months, during camp, during daddy's heart attack. Satan tried to defeat us but we are still here! God brought us through all of that and we are still standing! I don't claim to have done it all right during each trial, but this one thing I do know I still kept the faith! I believed even though i didn't feel it I knew God was going to bring me through the battle even if I didn't see a way out.

 Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

 How true! we don't claim to have MADE IT, but we are pressing toward our goal Heaven. And I'm DARING TO BELIEVE GOD!! I just want to thank him for blessing us even when we did not deserve it.

Their desired haven.

Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalms 107:28-31 KJV)

Psalms

The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. (Psalms 34:22 KJV)

Salvation

A person doubting their salvation, is like a person doubting whether or not he has a gift. If your handed a gift, you don't doubt if you have it.          Anonymous

My promise

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30 KJV)
This is my promise when I need healing I claim the blood! Jesus will take away the burden. He will give me rest.

Seek Him and you will find Him.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13 KJV)
Thank God for that wonderful promise! When we feel like we can't seem to find God and it feels hopeless, we can rest assured that if we seek him with our whole hearts we will find him. He's not going to leave us alone he is there listening to our every plea for help and guidance. How marvelous and how wonderful is Gods love for us that he should give us this promise, "If we seek him we will find him if we seek with our whole hearts.

Strength to carry on.

Finding Justice in Injustice
by Charles R. Swindoll

And I saw something else under the sun:
In the place of judgment
---wickedness was there,
in the place of justice---wickedness was there.
I thought in my heart,
"God will bring to judgment both the righteous
and the wicked;
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time for every deed."
---
Ecclesiastes 3:16-17 NIV

It's not often, Father, that we make such a statement, but today we thank You for the injustices in life that have crippled us and broken us and crushed us. Unfair circumstances have bruised us deeply and beaten us into submission to You. Inequities have brought us to such a dead end that we can't see the way back out. The only direction we can look is up. We often think that our unjust circumstance is what has ruined our lives . . . when instead, it could be the means You have ordained to give us life. Father, if those people we know who have trudged through the valley of the shadow of death were not alive today, walking with You and telling us to keep going, where would we be? How much we need their examples and encouragement! Thank You for each one.

In light of Your sovereign grace, we thank You for blindness, for paralysis, for loss, for death, for broken dreams, for dissolved partnerships, and for disillusionment. In faith, we praise You for times of insecurity, failure, divorce, and even those when others have treated us unjustly. We see the storm, but You enable us to also see beyond the storm, so we trust You to make all things just in Your time. We believe that You sovereignly intend for good what others intentionally mean for evil.

We pray for those facing the frustration of injustice in these and dozens of other categories. We ask that they may be able to find in Jesus Christ the strength to go on . . . especially those who have almost decided to give up. We pray that they will offer everything to You in full surrender. Everything.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the Conqueror. Amen.

Happy Belated New Years!

Happy New Years! I know it's a little late to be saying that but it's been so busy around here I haven't gotten a chance to post! I can't believe it's 2014! The years go by so fast it's hard to keep up! And January is slipping by! I'll tell you a little bit of what's been happening...well for starters we finally moved into the duplex on January 1. We have been getting the house put together and that's a big job! Then everyone has been getting ready for camp it's coming soon it starts this Friday! There's been A LOT of work to be done but God has come through and has helped with the work load tramendasly. I can't believe it's come this soon! The church is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary! So this is going to be a very large camp! I'm so excited for it! What's also been a lot of fun is hearing all the stories about this church and the history behind it all. My Grandma&Great grandma have been telling us the history(they have deep roots with this church so they know a lot about it!) of this church and the people who helped build it. So this week is going to be a busy one! But I believe The Lord is going to give us a awesome camp:)

Happy Anniversary!

Today is mama&Daddys 18th Anniversary! I want to say I love them very much and wish them a Happy Anniversary! I love you mama&daddy! And I'm grateful both of you love God and are serving him:) Thank you for being good parants to us.

He knew

And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? (Genesis 3:11 KJV)
God knew without even asking that Adam and Eve ate the fruit. But he still asked cause he wanted them to confess what they had done. When we know we have sinned we shouldn't try to hide it God knows anyway, but God wants to hear our confession even if he already KNOWS what we have done, Just like king David when he was caught in adultery with Bathsheba, he immediately cried out for God to forgive him. God will still forgive you even if it takes a while for you to finally confess, but how blessed it is when we immediately confess and ask for forgiveness it is truly wonderful to know I am forgiven.
